Luke Kwon is a Korean American artist and researcher exploring institutional childhood environments, systems of care, and social infrastructure. Working across painting, field research, video, and archival practices, he examines how institutions shape memory, identity, and collective experience. His research-driven practice draws from philosophy, institutional critique, and architectural thinking. Kwon received a BA in Philosophy and a minor in Art and Design from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign.
